Digital Extremes has announced that it will reveal the next update for Warframe during PAX East 2025, which takes place from May 8 to 11 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Specifically, the next update will be revealed during Warframe Devstream 188 Live from the PAX East 2025 Main Stage on May 10, starting at 3:00 p.m. ET on Twitch.
Those attending PAX East will receive a Aesopex Armor Bundle, TennoVIP 2025 Glyph & Sigil, Orokin Reactor/Catalyst Blueprints, and early access to the Kullervo Noggle decoration. Digital Extremes also confirmed that the spring celebration event “Leap of the Lotus” will return this year. New tactical alert missions and rewards will be available from April 2-10.
Recently, Warframe received a new update for the 1999 expansion. The update, titled Techrot Encore, includes the following:
- Next entry to the Lich adversary system.
- Technocyte Coda boy band boss fights.
- 60th Warframe, Temple.
- Four new Protoframes, Gemini skins, and emotes releasing soon.
- Improvements to the Romance & Relationship system.
- New original music track via a collaboration with Jake Bowen and Mark Holcomb (Periphery), as well as vocalist Elliot Coleman (Good Tiger).
- New hairstyles and a new new Scaldra-themed cosmetic gear for the Drifter.
- New Scaldra weapons (a pistol, sickle, rifle, and grenade launcher).
- Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin
Lastly, Warframe is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Digital Extremes’ next game, titled Soulframe, will be available later this year. Digital Extremes will reveal more about the game’s platforms in the coming weeks and months, likely during TennoCon 2025.
