The Apothecary Diaries episode 35, was quite an eventful episode between Jinshi and Maomao as they went out of town to visit Lord Shishou in his home territory. Jinshi went on ahead with Gaoshun, while Maomao was escorted separately by Gaoshun’s son, Basen. All seemed to be normal on this trip until Maomao began to observe Jinshi’s demeanor change, as he was seemingly paranoid about being on Shishou’s home turf.
Later into the episode, Maomao chased after Jinshi, who appeared to be suffering from heat exhaustion due to a strange disguise he was wearing. This was for a good reason, however, as men armed with feifa (guns) were attempting to kill Jinshi. As a last resort, Jinshi took Maomao and jumped off a waterfall and into a secret cave. After recovering from their fall, Jinshi and Maomao attempt to find a way out of the cave and meet up with Gaoshun and Basen, but it appears that Jinshi needs to get something off his chest.
The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Episode 36 Release Date, Time and Where to Watch
The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 episode 36 premieres on Friday, March 28 at 9:15 a.m. PDT / 12:15 p.m. EDT on Crunchyroll. The new episode is titled “Ka Zuigetsu” and it will stream with English subs first, followed by the English dub at a later date. 12 to 13 episodes will release in the first cour of Season 2.
