Nintendo has announced Rhythm Heaven Groove for Nintendo Switch at today’s Nintendo Direct presentation. The game is set to release sometime in 2026, with music produced by the Japanese musician Tsunku♂. Groove marks the first entry in the Rhythm Heaven franchise since 2015, with Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Although we do not know the details yet, it is likely that this game will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2, considering the console is set to launch this year. Even if a native release is not created, you will still be able to play Rhythm Heaven Groove on Nintendo Switch 2 with backwards compatibility.
