SEGA announced free-to-play action RPG Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will collaborate with the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime series. In addition, new details about the Halpha’s Super Origin Festival event were revealed.
The That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime collaboration is set for May 2025 in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. During the collaboration, players can expect an AC Scratch Ticket featuring avatar items and cosmetics based on the anime. There will likely be specially themed login bonus rewards too.
Before then, players can prepare for the Halpha’s Super Origin Festival by participating in the event’s Countdown Campaign on April 8. This campaign will feature the game’s first-time free AC Scratch Ticket Campaig, daily gifts, and the PSO2-spec Weapon Camo * Obliance Toben as a Scratch Count Bonus.
On April 23, Halpha’s Super Origin Festival will celebrate the game’s fourth anniversary with weekly gifts, Super Origin Festival ’25 SP Scratch Tickets, 50% more rewards, and new urgent quests that can be completed twice. Players can receive special items from “Super 10-a-day! Free SG Scratch Pt.1,” including like Pharia’s hairstyle. There will also be Super High Rate Boosts and an Item Enhancement Support Campaign.
Moreover, SEGA confirms that Razer Gold is now supported with Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. Players can now use the service to purchase AC. Razer Gold can’t be used on the PlayStation 4 version, however.
Lastly, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows, and Steam.
