The full list of features for the update includes the ability to design creature skeletons from a collection of ancient bones. Players can reassemble their bodies from fossilized remains. There are also reanimated guardians, a various set of ancient bones to collect, fossil trading, an improved abandoned mode, a new hardpack, and several more additions to discover.

Hello Games initially released No Man’s Sky for the PlayStation 4 in August 2016. Critics and fans alike panned the game at launch, due to its broken state and numerous promises from the developers that they never delivered. However, in the almost eight years since its launch, Hello Games has turned the game around.

The developers have added several features, released it on other consoles, and have overall delivered the experience that people were hoping for eight years ago. In February 2024, Hello Games released the “Omega Update.” The most recent update for the game is the “Cross-Save Update,” which released in November 2024.

Lastly, No Man’s Sky, and the new “Relics” update, are available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
