Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital announced Gran Turismo 7 update 1.57 will launch on March 27 at 1:00 a.m. EST with three new cars, Version 2.1 of Gran Turismo Sophy 2.1, and much more.
Gran Turismo 7 update 1.57 brings the Aston Martin Vantage ’18, Mazda CX-30 X Smart Edition ’21, and Renault Kangoo 1.4 ’01. Players may test these cars out in new World Circuits events, including Sunday Cup (Brands Hatch Indy Circuit), European Clubman Cup 600 (Deep Forest Raceway Reverse), and Japanese FF Challenge 450 (Tokyo Expressway – Central Counterclockwise).
Version 2.1 of GT Sophy introduces the AI into Custom Races, exclusively on PlayStation 5. GT Sophy can be selected from Rival Cars in Custom Races on all supported tracks and layouts within World Circuits. Moreover, Extra Menu No. 45 Collection: Suzuki is now available for players at Collector Level 35 and above, and the Faroe Islands Curation is now available in Scapes.

In other news, Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 5 is coming to PlayStation 5 in spring 2025, giving Gran Turismo fans another game to try out. Moreover, it has cross-play with the existing Xbox Series X|S and PC versions, and you can expect it to support the new Gioteck FR5 Racing Wheel.
Gran Turismo 7 will continue to receive major updates on a near-monthly basis on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Polyphony Digital released the game’s free demo, My First GT, on December 6, 2024. Lastly, players may complete the demo to earn bonuses in Gran Turismo 7.
