In 2021, Bethesda announced that they’re making a new Indiana Jones game. MachineGames would develop the game while Todd Howard would produce it. The developers are known primarily for its work on the new Wolfenstein games, namely Wolfenstein the New Order/Colossus. Todd Howard is, of course, the creative mind behind franchises like Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and the 2023 release, Starfield.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle initially released in December for Xbox Series X|S. Xbox Game Pass owners can download the game at no additional cost. Final Weapon reviewed the game and rated it a 4.5/5. We described it as a “fantastic experience set in one of the most beloved media franchises ever.
The story is worthy of the series, plus the performances, especially from Troy Baker, are great. Further, the moment-to-moment gameplay of exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat is unique, varied, and fun. Plus, the use of a first-person perspective is a great choice.”
Lastly, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release for PlayStation 5 on April 17.
