During Arc World Tour 2024 finals, Arc System Works and Cygames released a new teaser trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising DLC character Galleon. Galleon is set to join the roster of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising in spring 2025, and Cygames teases that more information about the DLC character will be released soon, according to the game’s official Twitter/X account.
Galleon is a part of Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Character Pass Season 2 alongside Sandalphon and the following characters:
- Wilnas (Summer 2025)
- Meg (Fall 2025)
- Ilsa (Early 2026)
Moreover, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising received a new DLC update on February 26 featuring characters from the comedy digital manga series Pop Team Epic. The DLC includes premium lobby avatars of Popuko and Pipimi, which can also be configured as in-game partners. Additionally, the package provides two exclusive badges for players to display on their profiles. The DLC is priced at $5.99.
Lastly, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is officially a part of the main game lineup at EVO 2025 alongside Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, Mortal Kombat 1, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Marvel vs Capcom 2. EVO 2025 will run from August 1 to 3 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
