    CyberAgent’s AnimeJapan 2025 stage event released a new trailer for the Catch Me at the Ballpark! slice-of-life comedy anime series, which premieres on April 1. The new trailer previews the opening theme song of Catch Me at the Ballpark!, “Hurray!!” by GENIC.

    Moreover, the new trailer highlights the following cast members of the anime:

    • Fairouz Ai as Ruriko
    • Satoshi Inomata as Murata
    • Rika Tachibana as Yuki
    • Jun Fukuyama as Ken
    • Kiyono Yasuno as Nagisa
    • Kentaro Tone as Dennis
    • Ayumi Mano as Natsuno
    • Chiharu Sawashiro as Takimoto

    Junichi Kitamura directs the anime adaptation based on Tatsuro Suga’s manga series at studio EMT Squared. Shigeru Murakoshi handles series composition, Fumio Iida designs the characters, and MONACA will compose the anime’s music.

    Crunchyroll will stream the Catch Me at the Ballpark! as it airs in Japan. Here’s an overview of the anime, via the streaming service:

    To escape his tiring job, weary Murata finds escape at a nearby baseball stadium. While the games are thrilling, it’s Ruriko, the gyaru as cold as the beer she serves but secretly a sweetheart, who keeps him coming back. As her first regular, Murata discovers the warmth behind her frosty demeanor, and their hilarious, heartwarming encounters light up the ballpark and maybe even their hearts.
