The Pokémon Company announced that Shiny Pokémon will finally make its way to the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket game with the launch of the Shining Revelry booster pack. The Pokémon TCG Pocket Shining Revelry booster pack will launch on March 27.
The Shining Revelry booster pack brings a variety of Shiny Pokémon cards, including Charizard ex, Lucario ex, and Pachirisu Shiny Pokémon cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket sparkle beautifully when tilted. From April 1, players can also obtain a Shiny Charizard display board to show off other Shiny cards. Shining Revelry will also introduce Pokémon and Trainers from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet video games, such as Tatsugiri, Sprigatito, and Iono.
To celebrate the booster pack’s launch, players can partake in new ex Starter Deck missions from March 27, at 11:00 p.m. PDT to April 26, at 10:59 p.m. PDT. Completing these missions awards the player with a deck ticket that can be exchanged for one of nine starter decks. Once a starter deck is chosen, the deck’s 20 cards will be added to the player’s card collection.
Moreover, fans can look forward to the first season of ranked matches in Pokémon TCG Pocket. The first season will feature Shining Revelry and be available from March 27 at 11:00 p.m. PDT to April 26 at 10:59 p.m. PDT. In ranked matches, Trainers can battle against players of similar skill levels from around the world—and receive an emblem based on their end-of-season rank for display on their player profile.
