During AnimeJapan 2025, CyberAgent and Cygames Pictures announced more cast members for the original Apocalypse Hotel anime series. A new promotional video was released as well.

The Apocalypse Hotel anime will premiere on April 8 and air on NTV. The anime will also stream on the ABEMA, Lemino, and Animate Times streaming services in Japan. A manga adaptation by Izumi Takamoto will launch in April on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website. The manga is titled Apocalypse Hotel Sputtering.
The anime is set in a hotel in Tokyo’s Ginza district in an age where society and humanity have collapsed. Nature reclaimed most of the land in humanity’s absence. Despite that, Yachiyo, a hotel management robot, continues to manage the Ginzarō hotel alongside other robots while waiting for their human owners and guests to return.
