    Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Steam Patch 6 Released

    Features bug fixes and improvements to NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

    Insomniac Games has released patch 6 for the Steam version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The patch features bug fixes and NVIDIA DLSS improvements.

    The patch notes for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 patch 6 are as follows:

    • Fixed a bug that could cause distortion of visual effects when using AMD FSR Frame Generation in combination with upscaling.
    • Resolved a bug where ghosting could occur when NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation and upscaling was enabled, causing parts of the player suit to become invisible.
    • Addressed a bug that could cause mission trails to appear as a white tube for some players.
    • Fixed a bug that could cause Harry to appear twice when assisting in combat during the mission ‘Anything Can Be Broken’.
    • Players will no longer get stuck in the New Threads mission when crawling on the pipes with a very high frame rate.
    • Addressed a bug that prevented some players from receiving calls after missions, blocking their progress.
    • The ground will now appear shattered after performing a Ground Strike.
    • Resolved a bug that caused a dotted line to appear on screen during some cinematics when upscaling was used.
    • Addressed a bug where audio would desynchronize if the user changed the application focus while a cutscene was loading.
    • Various improvements to NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction related to ray-traced ambient occlusion and ray-traced shadows.
    • Updated Intel XeSS upscaling to version 2.0.1. This fixes bright visual artefacts that could occur when using XeSS upscaling.
    • Various stability improvements.

    Lastly, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is available now on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is also available on PlayStation 5. Check out our review of the game here
