Digital Extremes has revealed that the new Warframe update, Techrot Encore, is available today. It also released a new music track from metal band Periphery, titled “Lamenting the Days.”

Techrot Encore includes the following:
- Temple, 60th addition to the Warframe roster.
- Features heat wave projectiles and a rock-and-roll aesthetic.
- Four new Protoframes
- Flare (Temple)
- Minerva (Saryn)
- Velimir II (Frost)
- Kaya (Nova)
- Two new mission types
- Stage defense, a reimagining of the traditional Defense mission type.
- Temporal Archimedes
- New Atomicycle racing mini-game.
Recently, Digital Extremes also released new content in the form of eight weeks of alert missions, commemorating the 12-year anniversary of Warframe. These missions offer new cosmetics for weapons and Warframes, ship decorations, Weapon Slots, and other rewards.
It confirmed more details about the upcoming TennoConcert, which will be held during the TennoCon event. The concert will feature music from throughout Warframe‘s 12-year history. It will feature “the Official Warframe Band,” led by the game’s composer, Matthew Chalmers. Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford will also join as bass guitarist. The concert will take place on July 18 at Canada Life Place.
Lastly, Warframe is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Digital Extremes’ next major game, Soulframe, will likely release in 2025. TennoCon 2025 will be held from July 18 to 19. Tickets are available now for both it and the upcoming TennoConcert. The event will continue the trend of highlighting specific charities with the focus on Make-A-Wish Canada. It will take place in London, Ontario.
