In a continued collaboration with hololive and COVER Corporation, HYTE announced it will release a new HYTE Y70 Hoshimachi Suisei Limited Edition PC case. Fans can also look forward to a new keycap set and desk pad.
The new HYTE Y70 Hoshimachi Suisei Limited Edition PC case is available to pre-order now at HYTE.com for $299.99, and it’s expected to ship in July 2025. The case features a premium colorway for the case with a three-tone matching trim, gold text, and iconography themed after hololive VTuber Hoshimachi Suisei. The front and side panels feature new original artwork by famed artist Rosuuri. Fans can also look forward to the RDY Y70 Hoshimachi Suisei pre-built PC from iBUYPOWER, HYTE’s sister company, at a later date.
A new HYTE Hoshimachi Suisei Keycap and Desk Pad Bundle is also available for pre-order for $119.99, and it will also ship in July 2025. The keycap set includes 153 individual keycaps that are fully compatible with ANSI / ISO / JIS WW keyboards. The set features a Hoshimachi Suisei-themed blue and gold gradient design, and an equally striking design can be found on the desk pad.
After an interview with COVER Corporation CEO Motoaki Tanigo (YAGOO) in November 2024, Final Weapon recently had the opportunity to follow up and interview Holoearth and hololive Alternative producer Yuuki Oooka. In the interview, Oooka discusses the main sub-projects of Holoearth, development of the platform, new features in consideration, and its expansion in global markets. The producer also discussed Holoearth’s plans with hololive production and what it could mean for VTuber-related content in the future.
