A newly launched official website for the Cute High Earth Defense Club anime series announced Binan Kōkō Chikyū Bōei-bu Haikara, or Cute High Earth Defense Club High Color (unconfirmed English title), is now in the works. The staff of the new Cute High Earth Defense Club anime has been revealed alongside a new key visual as well.

Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! film director Shinji Takamatsu returns to direct the new anime at Studio DEEN. More staff members, and the voice cast of Cute High Earth Defense Club High Color, will be announced at a later date.
The first Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! anime series premiered in January 2015 in Japan. The anime was streamed on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Viewster as it aired in Japan. Ponycan USA released the series on DVD and Blu-ray.
The anime’s second season, Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE!, premiered in July 2016 in Japan. Crunchyroll and Funimation also streamed the second season as it aired in Japan.
Serving as the “series concluding chapter,” the Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! OVA premiered in theaters in August 2017 in Japan. Crunchyroll began to stream the OVA in November 2017.
In April 2018, the Cute High Earth Defense Club HAPPY KISS! anime series premiered, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as well.
The Cute High Earth Defense Club Eternal Love! anime film premiered on January 24 in Japan to celebrate the franchise’s 10th anniversary.

The story revolves around the members of the “Earth Defense Club” aka the “Do Nothing Club” at Binan High School. One day, the club members are soaking in a hot bath together when all of a sudden a mysterious pink wombat appears out of thin air! The wombat asks the members to lend it their help to protect the Earth. At school the next day, each of the club members receives a magical bracelet enveloping them in a dazzling light.
