Dreams of Another is Coming to Steam

    Releasing in 2025.

    Published:

Q-Games revealed Baiyon’s new Dreams of Another game will release in 2025 for PC via Steam alongside the previously PlayStation 5 and PS VR2 versions. This unique game is centered around the idea of “No Creation Without Destruction,” allowing players to create the world itself by shooting weapons.

Instead of destroying objects, like many traditional games in the genre, Dreams of Another allows you to create them. Across your journey, you will encounter environments built with point cloud technology, mysterious characters, and a soundtrack composed by Director Baiyon.

Here’s an overview of Dreams of Another, via the newly launched Steam page:

Dreams of Another is the latest title by multimedia artist Baiyon, the director of PixelJunk Eden. The game is built around the philosophical theme of “No Creation Without Destruction.”

Rather than destroying objects by shooting, as in traditional shooting games, here, your shots materialize and create the world.

This unconventional mechanic offers a gameplay experience that challenges the norms of the genre and invites players into a whole new dimension.
