Tifa Lockhart Wins Best Character at Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2024

    A well deserved win.

    Published:

Today during the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2024, it was revealed that Tifa Lockhart took home the Best Character award for 2024. Alongside the win for Best Character, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth took home numerous awards, including Game of the Year.

Tifa is a favorite character for many, as her story is incredibly important as one of the game’s main heroines. Both Ayumi Ito and Britt Baron have been highly praised for their performances as the character in Japanese and English. Tifa’s role was vastly expanded during the second chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake project, with a huge new sequence in Gongaga that sets up the much anticipated Lifestream sequence in the third remake game.
