The official website for the upcoming 28th Detective Conan anime film has released a new trailer, showcasing the movie’s theme song. King Gnu performs the theme song, titled “Twilight!!!”
The movie, titled Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, will air in Japan on April 18. Check out the trailer for the 28th Detective Conan anime movie below:
The film will have screenings in IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema in addition to regular screenings. The film will open in 522 theaters in Japan, a new record for the franchise. It is unknown if the 28th Detective Conan movie will premiere in the west.

The son of a world famous mystery writer, Shinichi Kudo, has achieved his own notoriety by assisting the local police as a student detective. He has always been able to solve the most difficult of criminal cases using his wits and power of reason.
On April 5, the new YAIBA anime, titled Shin Samurai-den YAIBA, will premiere. It will air before the ongoing Detective Conan anime’s 6:00 p.m. JST timeslot, to start the “Gōshō Aoyama Hour” block on YTV, NTV, and other affiliate channels. The cast and staff of the anime includes:
- Minami Takayama as Yaiba Kurogane
- Manaka Iwami as Sayaka Mine
- Yoshimasa Hosoya as Takeshi Onimaru
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Kenjūrō Kurogane
- Junichi Suwabe as Musashi Miyamoto
Lastly, the 28th Detective Conan film, titled Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, will air on April 18 in 522 Japanese theaters.
