Zynga has announced that online servers for Star Wars: Hunters will be shutting down on October 1. The final content update will release on April 15.

Star Wars: Hunters initially released on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch in 2024. It would later release on PC via Steam. In the lead-up to the server shut down, Zynga will re-run events and shop bundles, and will release a new support hero named Tuya. The character will be available for free.

In a message on its website, Zynga said the following about the Star Wars: Hunters servers shutting down:

    Dear Hunters,

Thank you for your incredible support and for being part of the world of Vespaara. After careful consideration, we want to let you know that the final content update for Star Wars: Hunters on all platforms will be on April 15th. The game will remain playable until October 1st, 2025, when the game’s online servers will be shut down.

We understand this news may be disappointing and want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. Your passion and dedication to the game and its community have meant the world to us, and we are committed to providing visibility and updates throughout the transition process.

Lastly, Star Wars: Hunters is available to play now on PC, iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. However, players can no longer purchase the game on the aforementioned platforms. Season 5 will be extended by five weeks starting on March 25, the last update will release on April 15, and servers will shut down on October 1.
