Square Enix has released new content for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis, commemorating the game’s 1.5-year anniversary. The update includes new rewards, cosmetics, and a new boss fight.

Square initially announced the new update for the game in late February. The 1.5-year anniversary update for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis includes a new Odin boss fight, new Odin gear, new draw tickets, a new weapon for Cloud, daily “Free 10 Draws” until April 2, a new item, a special battle tower, and more. The event will last until May 4.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is developed by Applibot, Inc. and published by Square Enix. In combat, you utilize different attacks that take time to recharge, similar to the original Final Fantasy VII. The game receives story chapters and new events on a monthly basis. The latest update featured a new wave of content based on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, such as the inclusion of Cid Highwind as a playable character.

Final Weapon’s review of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth delves into a generational RPG that lives up to the iconic legacy of Final Fantasy VII. The game continues the polarizing story of Final Fantasy VII Remake and becomes even greater as Cloud and his allies venture a vast world in search of Sephiroth. Lastly, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam. The 1.5-year anniversary update is currently ongoing and will continue until May 4.
