Adult Swim and MAPPA revealed 14 new cast members for the upcoming Lazarus anime series. The character identities for the new Lazarus cast members were not revealed just yet, and the staff asks fans to wonder what kind of characters they will voice.
The new Lazarus cast members include:

- Neeko
- Daisuke Ono
- Kazuhiko Inoue
- Satoshi Hino
- Sumire Uesaka
- Hidenori Takahashi
- Kōki Uchiyama
- Kenshō Ono
- Aoi Tada
- Ayane Sakura
- Yoshiko Sakakibara
The previously confirmed cast includes:
- Mamoru Miyano as Axel
- Makoto Furukawa as Doug
- Maaya Uchida as Christin
- Yuma Uchida as Leland
- Manaka Iwami as Eleina
- Megumi Hayashibara as Hersch
- Akio Otsuka as Abel
- Koichi Yamadera as Dr. Skinner
Lazarus will premiere first in the west April 5 at midnight EST (effectively April 6) on the Toonami programming block. Episodes will stream the next day on the Max streaming service, and a total of 13 episodes will be released. In Japan, the anime will premiere at 11:45 p.m. JST, according to the anime’s official website.
Shinichiro Watanabe and MAPPA’s Lazarus is a new original sci-fi anime for Toonami with action sequences by John Wick stuntman and director Chad Stahelski. The anime’s composers include jazz and electronic artists/producers Kamasi Washington (West Coast Get Down), Floating Points (Floating Points Ensemble), and Bonobo. Washington performs the opening theme song “Vortex,” while The Boo Radleys perform the ending theme song “Lazarus.”
