    Haikyu!! Vs. The Little Giant Film Now In Development

    The film will follow the events of the Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle film.

    According to a recent event, the next Haikyu!! film, titled Haikyu!! Vs. The Little Giant, is now in development. The film will follow the events of Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle.

    Further, the event also revealed a new anime short, titled Haikyu!! Bakemono-tachi no Iku Tokoro (Where Monsters Go), will premiere on television. The premiere date for the short, as well as the newly announced film, are unknown. Check the trailer for both below:

    HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle film initially premiered in 2024 in Japanese with English subtitles. An English dub also released and aired on May 31. Haruichi Furudate launched the Haikyu!! manga in 2011. Both Viz Media and MANGA Plus have released the manga around the world. The anime adaptation initially aired in 2014 and lasted until 2020. Earlier this month, Shueisha released a new one-shot manga for the series.

    The entirety of the original Haikyu!! anime is available on Crunchyroll for viewing. They describe the series as follows:

    Based on the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school.

    Unfortunately, the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama. After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.

    Lastly, the next Haikyu!! film, Haikyu!! Vs. The Little Giant, will premiere at some point in the next few years.
