    Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics Releasing Today for Xbox One

    Capcom has announced that Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics will be available today on Xbox One. Specifically, it will be available after the ongoing Capcom showcase. It is currently unknown if a physical edition will be available.

    The collection includes X-Men Children of the AtomMarvel Super HeroesX-Men vs. Street FighterMarvel Super Heroes vs. Street FighterMarvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super HeroesMarvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and The Punisher. The games support rollback netcode, training mode, and other quality of life features. 

    Capcom initially announced Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct. The collection was playable at EVO 2024, and it even reached the #1 spot for video game releases on Amazon. This release is monumental for numerous reasons, with many fans excited to play a modern release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes, which was formerly trapped on older consoles like the SEGA Dreamcast.

    Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will continue Capcom’s fighting game resurgence in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The collection will include the following games: Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER, Project Justice, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, and  Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein. It also features rollback netcode, training mode, extended language support, and more content. The game will release on May 16, 2025.

    Lastly, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is available today on Xbox One. The game is also available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
