The author of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Fuse, has announced that he wants to end the novel series later this year. He originally planned to review the series with the 22nd volume, but explained in the afterword that he had other scenarios he decided to write. He claims that he wants to end the series in the next volume, but he “cannot make any guarantees.”
Fuse, a mysterious mangaka, initially serialized the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel from 2013 to 2016. Over the years, it has garnered several miscellaneous video games, anime, and more adaptations. Recently, the anime’s staff released That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Visions of Coleus, or Coleus’ Dream. The series is a three-episode spin-off that is available now on Crunchyroll. Further, season 4 of the anime is in development.
