Playtonic has announced that Yooka-Replaylee will feature the return of Shovel Knight. Additionally, his challenge from the original game is now revised. His visual model has also been recreated and is now up-to-date with modern visual styles. Check out the trailer for the return of Shovel Knight in Yooka-Replaylee below:
The release date for Yooka-Replaylee is currently unknown, however, it will likely release this year. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and “Nintendo.” The trailer doesn’t specifically outline which Nintendo consoles it will be available on. It is possible that Yooka-Replaylee will be available on the Nintendo Switch as well as the Nintendo Switch 2.
