Zerocreation Games, the developers behind The Hungry Lamb, have announced The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall. The visual novel will release in Q4 2025. Additionally, the staff of the upcoming game have released a new concept art process for the game on YouTube. Check it out below:

The Steam page describes The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall as follows:

Year 1645. Scholar Fang Zhiyou descended into madness following the suicide of his childhood friend. Overwhelmed with grief, unable to continue writing, and chased by past traumas; he began drowning his sorrows in alcohol and developed a mental condition that made him see people as beasts.

On the 24th day of the fourth lunar month, after drinking heavily, Fang collapsed in the street on his way home. When he woke up, he found himself transported to the Kingdom of Shituo, a city he had once introduced in his book.

A book that described how, 500 years before the Great Sage Sun Wukong’s journey, the Yaoguai wreaked havoc on Shituo, slaughtering and terrorizing its people under the command of the Golden Winged Great Peng.

Just as in his book, he starts experiencing the chaos and the horrifying reality of the war. Amid the murders, rapes, and the burning city, Fang lost all hope of survival. Yet, that changed when he encountered a young girl.

A girl looked extremely similar to Su Lingyan, an old friend who had tragically ended her life three years earlier. The courtesan Su Lingyan, his childhood sweetheart and his only confidante. She even shared the same childhood nickname, “Little Swan.”

Determined to protect her, Fang vowed to survive and ensure her safety until the massacre was over, no matter the cost.

Lastly, The Weeping Swan: Ten Days of the City’s Fall will release in Q4 2025.
