The Pokémon Company has announced a new “Small Yet Strong” event for Pokémon GO, which focuses on tiny Pokémon. New raids, rewards, eggs, research, and other wild encounters will be available when the event starts on February 5. It will end on February 8.
The Pokémon GO Small Yet Strong event will highlight the following Pokémon:
- Paras
- Natu
- Plant Cloak Burmy
- Sandy Cloak Burmy
- Trash Cloak Burmy
- Joltik
- Tynamo
- Red Flower Flabébé
- Blue Flower Flabébé
- Yellow Flower Flabébé
- Nymble
- White Flower Flabébé
- Orange Flower Flabébé
It is possible to encounter shiny versions of all the Pokémon mentioned above. Event-themed field research, timed research, and collection challenges will be available when the event starts. For a limited time, you can also receive 50% more PokéCoins when purchasing the $99.99 PokéCoin bundle on the Pokémon GO store. The sale will give players more than 20,000 PokéCoins until January 31, 2025, at 8:00 p.m.

Players can prepare for Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Global with the new “Road to Unova” event, which will be held from February 24 to March 1. Pokémon GO Tour: Unova will take place from February 21 to 23, 2025 in New Taipei City, Taiwan and in Los Angeles at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The global event will follow up on March 1 to March 2 for all players, and the official event page is live here.
