Square Enix has released Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and creative director Tetsuya Nomura and the art team revealed new art to celebrate the occasion.
A 30% discount for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is applicable to both the Steam and Epic Games Store versions until February 5. The discount applies to all editions of the game, including the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth Twin Pack.
On PC, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has improved lighting and visuals, DualSense controller support, Nvidia DLSS support with higher frame rates and upscaled visuals, three presets and multiple graphics settings, customizable on-screen NPC count, and keyboard and mouse support.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is already available now for PlayStation 5, and it’s an official PlayStation 5 Pro Enhanced title. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth battle director Teruki Endo will be hosting a game design panel during the 2025 Game Developers Conference (GDC). The panel is titled The Challenges in Developing an Innovative Battle System for Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth. During the panel, Endo will go in depth about challenged involved with designing the battle system of the Final Fantasy VII Remake project, including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
