Aniplex of America announced that Netflix will add Cells at Work Season 2 with English and Japanese audio with subtitles on February 1. Netflix is currently streaming the first season of the Cells at Work anime.
The first season of Cells at Work premiered in July 2018 on Crunchyroll and Funimation. A Blu-ray disc with the English dub was released in August 2019. Cells at Work Season 2 premiered in January 2021 on Crunchyroll and Funimation, and Funimation released the English dub for the second season that same year.
Akane Shimizu launched the original Cells at Work manga series in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius March 2015 magazine issue. The series ended in January 2021, and Kodansha USA Publishing released the manga in English. Kodansha USA Publishing is also releasing several Cells at Work spinoff manga in English, including:
