NEOWIZ and GAMFS N announced the new Onsen Training update for Brown Dust 2 is now available worldwide. This is the first content update for the game in 2025, following the 1.5-year anniversary celebration from December 2024.
“Onsen Training” takes Brown Dust 2 players to a Japanese winter hot spring. The story begins with protagonist Ventana being rescued by Blade, the legendary swordfighter from the Kendo Club. Liberta joins them, and players can enjoy humorous and quicky moments as they take on peculiar challenges, including monkey ambushes.
The Onsen Training update also marks the return of foes like Giant Rou, and the massive hot springs monkey known as the Snowy Mountain Tyrant makes their debut. There are 30 battles split between normal and challenge modes, with 15 for each type. The new Onsen Tile Tactics mini-game is a new addition to the story pack, involving the quick clearing of puzzle tiles.
Moreover, exclusive gear and new costumes are also available for Ventana and Liberta. The Onsen Practitioner Ventana costume and gear are available through Thursday, January 30. Afterward, the Onsen Manager Liberta costume and gear will be available until Thursday, February 13.
In December, Brown Dust 2 held its 1.5-Year Anniversary Celebration event, which is still available to browse on the event’s official website. You can even hear ASMR content featuring Brown Dust 2’s heroines and read up on character lore and backstories, allowing you to learn more about your favorite girls. NEOWIZ is also offered new merch and digital goods for in-game purchases. These goods include a commemorative A2 tapestry, acrylic stands, badges, photo cards, cushions, desk pads, hoodies, and much more.
