    Published:

Bushiroad Games and Cherrymochi released a new teaser trailer for upcoming visual novel DUSK INDEX: GION. The new title is coming to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, but a release date has not been announced yet.

Here’s an overview of DUSK INDEX: GION, via Gematsu, and the latest trailer:

An original visual novel by Cherrymochi, Bushiroad, and Fuji TV.

An augmented reality experience called “Echoes of Kyoto” invites people on a journey to the Meiji era of Japanese history.

However, a murder case with striking similarities to one that occurred in the Meiji era takes place in modern-day Kyoto.

The story spans two eras—the modern era and the Meiji era—and follows the investigations of a modern-day detective, Daiki Katsuki, and a Meiji era detective, Masayoshi Nagahama, whose paths eventually intersect.

Bushiroad Games also announced HEADLOCK-developed visual novel VIRTUAL GIRL @ WORLD’S END will release on June 12 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. A physical release was confirmed for Japan, and the game will feature English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options.

Moreover, Bushiroad Games and CIRCUS revealed D.C. ~Da Capo~ Re:tune, a remake of the original D.C. ~Da Capo~ romance visual novel released in 2002 for PC (Windows). The remake is faithful to the original, but it will have new character designs, along with a new cast and a new heroine named Fuuki. A release date and platforms for the remake were not revealed yet.
