The most recent issues of Weekly Shonen Jump has announced that the Mission: Yozakura Family manga is entering its “climax” soon. This could potentially mean that the series will come to an end at some point in the coming months and years. Shueisha will likely confirm more details about the manga’s future soon.
Recently, the anime’s staff announced that Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 will air in 2026. The first season initially aired earlier this year, on April 7. The second season will likely be available on both Hulu and Disney Plus when it airs in two years.
Hitsuji Gondaira wrote Mission: Yozakura Family in 2019. The series has been ongoing ever since, with Shueisha and Viz Media publishing the series in territories around the world. NBC Universal initially announced the anime in the last week of February 2024. Later, Disney announced that they would air the anime on Hulu and Disney Plus. NBC confirmed the second season in October 2024.
Shueisha has the entire series thus far on its MANGA Plus service. Yen Press is also publishing the manga series. The former describes it as follows:
