Aniplex has announced a new anime titled Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi, or Food for the Soul. The anime will air in 2025 and reunites the staff of Non Non Biyori. The creator of the Non Non Biyori, Atto, will work on character and story concepts.
Atto will also work on the tie-in manga’s storyboard layouts for the series. The first preview introduces the main character Mako Kawai as a first-year college student who begins living on her own. Check out the first trailer for the Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi anime below:
