    TriggerHeart Exelica Enhanced Releases in April 2025 in Japan

    Cosmo Machia announced shoot ’em up TriggerHeart Exelica Enhanced will release on April 24, 2025 for Nintendo Switch in Japan. As previously announced this new version of TriggerHeart Exelica will include a new playable character, added features, and much more. 

    TriggerHeart Exelica Enhanced will be sold physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The standard physical edition costs 4,950 yen, while the digital edition costs 4,500 yen. A “Complete” bundle featuring both versions of TriggerHeart Exelica will be sold for 9,900 yen. The bundle also includes a two-disc soundtrack CD, the “Enhanced” player guidebook, and a special box.

    TriggerHeart Exelica Enhanced introduces playable character Faintear (Original), balance adjustments for the original roster, an “enhanced” story mode with additional high-resolution CGs, and returning features from the original release, such as leaderboards and Training Mode. The game also has an opening movie produced by P.A. Works with the theme song “GRAVITY ERROR” by Ayane.

    Released on May 2 worldwide, the Nintendo Switch version of TriggerHeart Exelica features a new “Arrange” Mode with difficulty adjustments and a Training Mode for newcomers. The game also includes Arcade Mode, Story Mode, vertical screen play, online rankings, and Sound Mode. Nearly six months after the Japanese release, Nintendo Switch and Steam players around the world will finally be able to play the remaster.

    The PC (Steam) version of TriggerHeart Exelica released first on April 26. TriggerHeart Exelica will support Japanese voice-overs with English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text options.
