Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay update for Death Note Killer Within. The update fixes “interruptions to gameplay.” Check out the announcement post for the latest Death Note Killer Within update below:

It states the following:
Thank you for playing DEATH NOTE Killer Within. If a player other than the host, “Kira”, “Kira Follower”, or “L” leaves the room in the action phase or meeting phase due to disconnection or other reasons, the game will not be interrupted.
Action Phase
If a living player other than the host, “Kira,” “Kira Follower,” or “L” disconnects, their avatar will not remain in the stage. Disconnection during death will be treated the same as when a spectator leaves the room, and the player’s corpse and dying message will remain in the stage.
Meeting Phase
Players who disconnect without voting will be forced to skip voting. L cannot choose to confiscate items from players who disconnect after the vote. *Please note that players who disconnect intentionally or multiple times will be subject to warnings and bans.

Overview
Death Note Killer Within is an online social deduction game for up to 10 players. Players will be split into two teams with different objectives. To win the game, players will need to figure out each other’s identities and either eliminate L who threatens Kira’s power or seize the Death Note.
