HoYoverse has released Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4 “A Storm of Falling Stars” today with new content and playable characters, PS5 Pro enhancements and features, a special free reward, and much more.
Hoshimi Miyabi and and Electric Agent Asaba Harumasa arrive as playable character representing Section 6 in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4. Harumasa is free to players who reach Inter-Knot Lv. 8, while Miyabi can be drawn from the event banner. To aid players, HoYoverse is giving away 1,600 Polychromes to all Zenless Zone Zero players until January 21. Simply log in before the deadline and redeem the reward from the in-game mail.
Redesigned Main Story stages from the Prologue to Chapter 3 will be added to the HDD system, and in future updates, TV mode will be replaced with story stages. All contracted Agents are now playable in New Eridu and can stroll the city.
In Version 1.4, Chapter 5 of the main story explores Perlman, some hidden truths, and the backstories of Wise and Belle, Zenless Zone Zero’s protagonists. As players discover the truth, they will join forces with Section 6 and venture into Port Elpis.
Hollow Zero gets the new Shadows Lost mode and the Deadly Assault operation. Players can expect intense battles in the Lost Void with enhanced support and new equipment. The new Reverb Arena mode hosts several events as well, including a Bangboo-themed tower defense event.
Zenless Zone Zero received a PS5 Pro upgrade with the update, so players with the console may now use ray tracing in the game. Full patch notes for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4 may be read at HoYoLab for finer details.
