Dragami Games president Yoshimi Yasuda announced that “unconventional” updates for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released in 2025. It’s unclear what these updates will bring to Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, but Yasuda hopes fans look forward to them.
“We are proud to have broken the 12-year silence and brought Lollipop Chainsaw back to life as a modern action game in 2024,” said Yasuda on Twitter/X. “We are also grateful to the many game users who have encouraged us, and we cannot thank you enough. We have unconventional updates planned for 2025, so please look forward to them.”
It’s also worth noting that a new Photo Mode update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is coming soon, but a release date has not been announced yet. The previous update was released on December 3 and introduced the Pin-Up Outfit for Juliet, along with bug fixes.
The PC version also received an update that added new Steam trading cards. By collecting these trading cards, players can unlock badges, emoticons, backgrounds, and other items for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP on Steam.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP update 1.06 brought major performance improvements and several bug fixes on Nintendo Switch. Specifically, this update fixes frame rate issues on the Nintendo Switch version in 45 scenes.
Lastly, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Xbox One version may be upgraded to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
