The Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. open beta released an update that addresses a particular network issue. There was reportedly an issue where ranked matches weren’t functioning properly. The developers apologized to the players who experienced this issue and said that the latest update of the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. open beta is ID: 16743728.
Additionally, SEGA unveiled character guide videos for multiple characters from VF5 R.E.V.O. on Virtua Fighter’s official YouTube channel. Each character guide goes through the characters’ movesets, strategies, and much more valuable information. At the moment, not all Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. characters have guide videos yet.
Moreover, at The Game Awards 2024, SEGA announced on the latest VF Direct that the release date of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is set for January 28, 2025. The open beta for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is available now until December 17. For those interested, head to the Steam store page and download it.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will receive a 30th-anniversary edition that includes a pre-order bonus of SEGA Hardware Customization item sets that consists of the Dreamcast, SEGA SATURN, and the MEGA DRIVE/GENESIS.
