SEGA announced on the latest VF Direct that the release date of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is set for January 28, 2025. An open beta is also live for a limited time ahead of launch.
Additionally, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will receive a 30th-anniversary edition that includes a pre-order bonus of SEGA Hardware Customization item sets that consists of the Dreamcast, SEGA SATURN, and the MEGA DRIVE/GENESIS.
The 30th anniversary edition will also have the following items for those who purchase:
- Swimsuit Costume set for all characters
- Virtua Fighter Pre-Production secret materials
- Legendary Pack & Yakuza series pack DLC
- Virtua Fighter 30th Anniversary Music Selection
- 30th Anniversary Wallpaper Sets and Ranking Titles
It’s worth noting that a 20% discount is live for the Steam version until January 27. Moreover, the open beta for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is available now until December 17. For those interested, head to the Steam store page and download it.
