    Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Revealed At The Game Awards 2024

    A new teaser trailer featuring Shadow was unveiled.

    During The Game Awards 2024, SEGA has unveiled a new cinematic trailer for a new title in the Sonic Racing series, titled Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A release date has not been announced, however. 

    The 30-second long teaser trailer briefly showcases Shadow in his Dark Reaper car, driving into a portal that goes to a new world. Perhaps this means that Shadow will play a bigger role in the story of the game?

    SEGA did previously announce that they have a lot of things planned for the Year of Shadow campaign, so it’s exciting to know the possibilities of what this could be. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as more information on the game surfaces.

    The last game in the Sonic Racing series was Team Sonic Racing, which was originally released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 21st, 2019 worldwide. 

    The Game Awards 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the annual celebration, uniting and bringing together developers, publishers, and fans across the entire globe. Each year, dozens of awards are presented to creators, with a slew of new game announcements and trailers in store as well.
