Capcom released a new update for Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil Village on Apple devices, allowing players to start up the game without an internet connection. Players must update their Resident Evil games to the newly released version in order to start it up without an internet connection.

Capcom also launched Resident Evil 2 remake on Apple, including iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPad and Mac devices with M1 chip or later. Players may also test out the game with a free download, serving as a demo.
Capcom confirmed that Resident Evil 2 on Apple supports the Universal Purchase feature and cross-progression. In addition, these features allow players to re-download the game and continue from where they off across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, since and transfer save data between devices.
