During INDIE Live Expo 2024 Winter, room6 and 72studio announced robotic adventure game BatteryNote is coming to PC via Steam in spring 2025. The game will support English and Japanese language options. Currently, the game and demo does not support English.

Here’s an overview of the game, via the official Steam page:

    Outline

You, a mechanic, have picked up three robots from a scrapyard.

“J.S.C.A” : a robot waitress at the diner.

“Surverry” : a security robot for monitoring offices.

“Devind R7” : a combat robot that seems to have been developed for military use.

In a dimly lit garage, you charge and revive the robots.

After that, you can peek into their memories through dialogue.

Or you can enjoy the robots’ reactions by applying high voltage to them.

However, their batteries only have a short lifespan left.

How they spend the rest of their lives is in your hands…

    Game Design

    This is an adventure game.

You can select one of three robots and charge and converse with them within a time limit.

You can play with the same robot over and over again.

You can aim to unlock all ending achievements, or you can just try to make the robots happy.
