HoYoverse announced Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4 “A Storm of Falling Stars” will release on December 18. The new update will introduce a slew of new content, along with PS5 Pro enhancements and features, and the TV mode will be replaced with “more immersive combat and exploration.”
Section 6 Agents Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa will arrive in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4. Hoshimi Miyabi is the youngest Void Hunter with an ethereal-slaying katana, Tailless. As a Frost Anomaly Agent, Miyabi can surround enemies with Icefire to deal damage and trigger special effects. On the other hand, Harumasa is an Electric Agent that can seamlessly switch between bow and blade, mark targets, and unleash strikes with Electro Quivers. Harumasa is free to players who reach Inter-Knot Lv. 8.
Redesigned Main Story stages from the Prologue to Chapter 3 will be added to the HDD system, and in future updates, TV mode will be replaced with story stages. All contracted Agents will be playable in New Eridu, and Quality Time Mode lets players stroll the city with Agents. Moreover, Decibels will no longer be shared across the squad in combat, so all squad members can unleash Ultimates in a row. There’s also a Quick Sweep feature for Shiyu Defense challenges, along with other optimizations.
In Version 1.4, Chapter 5 of the main story explores Perlman, some hidden truths, and the backstories of Wise and Belle, Zenless Zone Zero’s protagonists. As players discover the truth, they will join forces with Section 6 and venture into Port Elpis. Mysteries will be revealed as the story reaches its finale.
Hollow Zero get the new Shadows Lost mode and the Deadly Assault operation. Players can expect intense battles in the Lost Void with enhanced support and new equipment. The new Reverb Arena mode will host several events as well, including a Bangboo-themed tower defense event.
