    Tokyo Xtreme Racer Reveals a New Official Trailer

    Race down the Tokyo Expressway next year.

    Genki released a new official trailer for the upcoming Tokyo Xtreme Racer game, highlighting several cars such as the iconic Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, Mazda RX-7, and the Toyota Supra. The trailer is less than a minute long, but it’s exciting nonetheless for racing game fans.

    The previous clip for Tokyo Xtreme Racer highlighted the Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C. The Tokyo Xtreme Racer developers showcased various cars thus far, and it seems like more may be on the way before the game’s launch in 2025.

    The Tokyo Xtreme Racer series, known as Shutoko Battle in Japan, began in 1994 with Shutoko Battle ’94 for the Super Famicom. In 1999, a sequel was released for the Dreamcast. In 2003, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 releasing for the PlayStation 2. The most recent entry in the series is 2006’s Import Tuner Challenge for the Xbox 360.

    Lastly, Tokyo Xtreme Racer is coming to PC via Steam in 2025, and console versions were not announced. Here’s an official description of the game, via the official Steam page
