Bandai Namco Filmworks and Kodansha have announced that BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- has earned over $23.3 million in the global box office. Additionally, according to a press release, because of the global box office success of BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi-, “international BLUE LOCK fans can expect continued simultaneous releases of BLUE LOCK media…” The film is available now to watch on Crunchyroll.

Kodansha initially began serializing BLUELOCK in 2018. Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura’s series focuses on the Japanese Football (Soccer) Team trying to become the best in the world after finishing sixteenth in the 2018 World Cup. The anime adaptation is available on Crunchyroll, and the manga is available on Kodansha’s website.
