Bandai Namco announced Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival will receive Oshi no Ko collaboration DLC on December 5 in the west.
The latest Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival DLC will include three collaboration songs from the Oshi no Ko anime series, along with a collaboration stage. The songs that will be added are “Idol” by YOASOBI, “Sign is B -New Arrange Ver.-” by B-KOMACHI, “Fatal” by GEMN. In addition, 11 mini characters, the Ai DON-chan outfit, 10 titles, and three name plates will be added.
Kadokawa recently confirmed that Oshi no Ko Season 3 of the anime is in development, and its expected to premiere in 2025. Mamoru Miyano will voice Hikaru Kamiki and Hina Kino will voice Tsukuyomi in the upcoming season. Moreover, the Oshi no Ko live action series will premiere on November 28 on Amazon Prime Video.
The final chapter of Oshi no Ko, chapter 166, released in the November 14 issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine. All chapters are available to read right now on Manga Plus in English. Oshi no Ko’s final volume will release on December 18 in Japan with a Special Edition featuring character and decorative stickers, along with a foldable stage. Standard Edition copies cost 990 yen (tax included), while Special Edition copies cost 1,980 yen (tax included). Pre-orders are available now in Japan on Shueisha’s online bookstore.
Lastly, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This is the first game in the Taiko no Tatsujin series to natively support 120 FPS (PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 only).
