The Pokémon Company and Niantic announced that Pokémon GO Tour: Unova will take place from February 21 to 23, 2025 in New Taipei City, Taiwan and in Los Angeles at the Rose Bowl Stadium. The Global event will follow up on March 1 to 2, 2025 for all players.
Beloved Pokémon from the Unova region will be gathering for the biggest Pokémon GO Tour ever during Pokémon GO Dual Destiny season. Players will soon discover new stories inspired by Pokémon Black and White, including Pokémon Black and White Version 2.
Shiny Meloetta will appear in Pokémon GO encounters for the first time through paid Masterwork Research globally. Deerling will also appear with seasonal variants, so players will need to keep habitats in mind since they rotate hourly. There’s also an opportunity to catch Shiny Deerling. Shiny Maractus, Shiny Sigilyph, and Shiny Bouffalant will appear in the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global event as well.
An event-exclusive Special Research Story will be available after the Unova event in New Taipei City and Los Angeles. Players around may team up to “end the chaos” following Professor Willow’s discoveries in the Global event.
Tickets for New Taipei City and Los Angeles are available now during an early bird window at the official Pokémon GO Tour page. It’s worth noting that no ticket is required to participate in the Global event.
Dual Destiny season will begin on December 3 and run until March 4, 2025. The new season will follow up on Max Out with new Max Battles, holiday-themed events, Pokémon GO Tour, and more Pokémon from Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Galar Region.
Lastly, Pokémon GO is available now on iOS and Android worldwide, and Max Out season ends on December 3.
