The Pokémon Company and Niantic announced that Pokémon GO Dual Destiny season will begin on December 3 and run until March 4, 2025. The new season will follow up on Max Out with new Max Battles, holiday-themed events, Pokémon GO Tour, and more Pokémon from Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Galar Region.
Seasons will change in Pokémon GO Dual Destiny season, and the start of the season will bring the Winter Holiday map. Players can also expect Fighter-Type Machop and Water-Type Krabby make their Dynamax debut in Dual Destiny, along with Gigantamax Lapras in Max Raids. Players can also expect exclusive Dual Destiny Special Research.
Shadow Regirock, Regice and Registeel appear in Raids throughout the duration of Dual Destiny. For the first time ever in Pokémon GO, Shadow Pokémon may even appear in their Shiny forms as well. Sinistea and Polteageist make also their Pokémon GO debut as part of the season as well.
In 2025, Niantic invites Pokemon Trainers to Pokémon GO Tour: Unova, two exclusive in-person events taking place in Los Angeles and New Taipei City. Details about the new Unova event are coming soon, but players can expect new Pokémon, gear, and other additions surrounding the event.
Pokémon GO League Battles will be back with the Fantasy Cup, Holiday Cup, Love Cup, and much more. You can expect more details to be revealed soon at the season’s official website, so stay tuned.
Lastly, Pokémon GO is available now on iOS and Android worldwide, and Max Out season ends on December 3.
