GameSir Announces Cyclone 2 Multi-Platform Controller

Works on Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.

GameSir, a gaming peripheral company, recently announced the Cyclone 2 multi-platform controller. The controller is compatible with the Nintendo Switch and PC, as well as iOS and Android devices. Two colors are available: Shadow Black and Phantom White. Both are available for $55.99.

The press release describes the controller’s features as follows:

One of the standout features of the Cyclone 2 is that it integrates GameSir’s groundbreaking Mag-Res TMR Sticks, combining the precision of traditional potentiometer sticks with the durability of Hall Effect technology. This combination ensures smoother performance, higher accuracy, and long-lasting durability. Additionally, precision-tuned Hall Effect analog triggers provide smooth and responsive feedback, giving players a competitive edge in various gaming genres. For action and FPS enthusiasts, the controller also features a Hair Trigger Mode for ultra-fast responses.

Offering seamless connectivity through tri-mode options—Bluetooth, wired, and 2.4GHz wireless—the Cyclone 2 adapts to different gaming environments, ensuring minimal latency and uninterrupted play. The controller’s built-in 6-axis gyroscope further enhances control, allowing for precise and immersive motion-based interactions, perfect for Switch titles.

GameSir’s latest controller also features togglable precision-tuned Hall Effect analog triggers, which provide smooth, responsive control in games that require linear input. For competitive players, a quick switch to Micro Switch hair trigger modes allows for ultra-fast response times. This dual-mode design ensures optimal control across different gaming genres, offering both precision and speed when needed.

Esports-grade performance is also guaranteed through the micro switch face buttons, which provide clicky, tactile feedback with an impressive lifespan of up to 5 million presses. The tactile switch D-pad and ABXY buttons ensure responsive gameplay, while back buttons and a turbo function add further customization to accommodate different gaming styles.
