HoYoverse has just officially released their event schedule for phase 1 of Genshin Impact Version 5.2. This new update continues the Archon Quest, introducing the Flower-Feather Clan and Masters of the Night-Wind from Natlan, alongside adding Chasca and Ororon as playable characters.
Via their official HoYoLab platform, the developer has revealed the timeline of what kind of events players can expect in the first half of Version 5.2, which we’ve compiled below:
Genshin Impact Version 5.2 Wish Banners
The first half of banners in Version 5.2 include Chasca’s banner, titled Piercing Shot’s Crimson Wake, and a rerun of Lyney’s Conjuring Chiaroscuro banner, with Chasca and Lyney being the featured 5-star character. In the rate-up pool of 4-stars, we have Ororon, the new Electro Bow wielder, alongside Sucrose and Barbara.
The Epitome Invocation has also updated its lineup, featuring both Chasca’s signature weapon, the Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage and Lyney’s signature weapon, The First Great Magic. There are also some exclusive 4-star weapons in the increased drop-rate pool, such as the Waveriding Whirl and the Flower-Wreathed Feathers, alongside familiar weapons such as The Flute sword, The Bell claymore, and the Favonius Lance polearm.
Both of these banners will be available until December 10th, by which then the second phase of banners featuring both a rerun of Zhongli’s Vago Mundo banner, and Neuvilette’s Decree of the Deeps banner.
Version 5.2’s Events
Leading Version 5.2’s events is the Iktomi Sightseeing Scrolls event, which will be held starting from November 28th to December 16th.
The event is composed of three modes that will unlock sequentially: Search for Lost Spirits, Evil Banisher and Restoring Fragmented Records. Players who participate in the event can obtain the event-exclusive Calamity of Eshu sword, as well as Primogems and weapon upgrade materials.
Before that event however, an animal seeking event titled Claw Convoy will be held from November 22nd to December 2nd. Each of the event’s stages will be sequentially unlocked, where players must use the Inscribed Mirror in order to search for small animals and bring them to the mysterious adopter.
New Tribal Chronicles Quests
Version 5.2 sees the addition of a new set of Tribal Chronicles, this time involving the Flower-Feather Clan. As an incentive to clear these quests, players who clear all three acts by December 10th will receive Primogems, Character Ascension Materials, Character Level-Up Materials and Natlan regional specialties.
In order to unlock them, you must have completed the Flowers Resplendent of the Sun-Scorched Sojourn act of the Archon Quest for the first two acts, and the third one is unlocked by completing the fourth act of Chapter 5 of the Archon Quest, titled The Rainbow Destined to Burn.
Furthermore, players who complete the specified Exploration Quests in the three new areas that were added in Version 5.2: Tezcatepetonco Range, Quahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan, will receive an additional reward of 400 Primogems.
Genius Invokation TCG Events
Two events related to the Genius Invokation TCG will be held. The first will be available from November 22nd to December 16th, and introduces a new set of Heated Battle rules. Players who complete the duels under this special ruleset will receive Lucky Coins as rewards, which can be exchanged for items.
The special rules are as follows: Upon starting combat, you must randomly draw characters and powerful supporting forces to form lineups and do consecutive battles. Characters from both sides will automatically take actions from left to right. To account for this rule, the effects of certain Elemental Reactions and card effects will be adjusted.
The second event is titled The Forge Realm’s Temper: Endless Swarm, and it will be available throughout the entirety of Version 5.2’s patch period. This event consists of four stages with unique challenges in each of them. After each challenge is completed, rewards can be obtained depending on how many points are obtained.
